Ian Crowther and Jane Lowe make up IJ Marketing and have been partners for 10 years.
The idea for IJ Marketing came about when Ian discovered he had Type 2 Diabetes, some 6 years ago. The discovery lead to a lot of research both on the Internet and in traditional forms of media.
What we found was a lot of mis-information, conflicting information, and downright scaremongering!!
During the next four years we trawled through all the information and from our own experiences, and that of friends, brought together the most practical and straightforward data. This journal became our first and was designed to help newly diagnosed suffers understand the disease and take the practical steps to take ownership of their treatment.
Jane is a long term sufferer of both Asthma and Arthritis, and therefore again has plenty of practical experience of coping day to day with these complaints. Our journals build upon that experience and combine it with the latest research from the acknowledged experts around the world.
No scaremongering, no medicines to market, just honest advice and practical solutions.
Jane is also a fully qualified “Skills for Life” Tutor, with one of the best skills centres in the U.K. The centre is affiliated to the UK Government's Learn Direct initiative which enables all ages to have access to Numeracy and Literacy training.
Ian is 50 years old, divorced, with a 21 year old daughter and has lived in Sale Cheshire for 10 years.
Jane is of similar age(!), a widower with a son and daughter and two grand children . Jane has lived in Sale for 30 years. |
